Tihar

The festival Tihar, is also known as the festival of lights. It is the most lively festival which bringing joy, colors and light together. It is the second biggest Nepali festival after Dashain.
on the first and second day of tihar me and my family prepared all the lights to lighten the house nothing happen in those two days of tihar we cleaned the house and made all the preparation for the third day Laxmi puja. In the third day the fun started we made rongoli, and went to Ganeshthan did puja over there and came home and did laxmi puja. It was so much fun. Another day it was Mha puja this is performed by the newar people of Nepal to purify and empower the soul. Me and my nini made all the mandala while other were making foods and putting diyo over the house. And it was the last day of tihar which is Bhaitika where the ceremony ended. The place looked incredible. There were fireworks in the sky. The night was so beautiful to watch there were so many lights that was sparkling in the house. It was a wonderful experience of Tihar. This year Tihar was more exciting than the last year.

Dashain

This year Dashain was the most memorable and the most enjoyable than the last year. I enjoyed playing games with my brothers and sisters and also I enjoyed this time. In the first day of tika, I had a lot of fun with my brother and sister. We played many games and enjoyed our day eating various kinds of food and by getting blessing. In the second day, We went to Kapan and had a lot of fun with my cousins and played cards, sang songs and enjoyed a lot and reached home late night. In the third I went to mamaghar and got blessings from my elders and played games, fly kites and played swings. In fourth day I went to my father's mamaghar there also we had a lot of fun. In the fifth day we had a party at our house where many of our relatives came there were so many variety of food. Me and my cousins played a lot at first we fly kite then sang song and danced and played games and many more. Another day, I went to see my Grandma. She was very happy to see us cause last year we couldn't visit her due to some problem and I got blessings from her. This year Dashain was really fun then the last year we eat variety of foods and had a lot of fun.
